The Leadership Center (TLC) Retreats are designed to strengthen and encourage couples in full-time ministry by providing an environment of grace and rest. Our four-day retreats in fall and winter offer quiet times alone for couples as well as recreational activities with other couples in ministry.
The Location:
The Lakes Region of New Hampshire provides a perfect environment for rest and relaxation.
Retreats are offered at $200 per couple, which covers your entire stay and meals. Additional costs are provided by people who care.
The Goals of our Retreats:
Provide a safe and restful environment away from the pressures of home and ministry.
- 4 days and 3 nights on Lake Winnipesaukee in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire
- Gracious and comfortable accommodations
- Delicious meals with plenty of time for fellowship
Promote a balance of spiritual reflection, relationship renewal and refreshing recreation.
- Significant time alone with God in His Word
- Time to share confidentially with others in ministry
- Opportunities for a variety of fun, recreational activities

Steve and Christie Bravo:
Steve and Christie been serving the family of God in various retreat ministries for more than 20 years. They have been serving with the Leadership Center since 1995 and are currently the Directors of the Retreat Ministry. They bring a wealth of experience, a deep love for God and His creation, and a genuine heart for the leaders of Christ’s church. This is a couple uniquely qualified to give leadership to our Retreat Ministry. Steve and Christie have put together a caring team of hosts and hostesses to serve with them at each retreat.
Skip and Nancy Metz:
Skip and Nancy retired to Wolfeboro where their family had enjoyed many summers over the years. Both Skip and Nancy were involved in Bible Study Fellowship and Community Bible Study in Connecticut. They are currently Directors of Ministry Services at the First Congregational Church in Ossipee. This ministry helps new people become actively involved in the church. We are blessed to experience their enthusiasm and energy in our retreat ministry.
Dave and Dawn Lind:
Dave and Dawn Lind are the founders of Focus On Purpose, a Christian marriage coaching business offering telephone coaching, workshops, and assessments. They coach pastoral and lay leadership couples to discover and focus on their God-given joint purpose as a Team of Two. Dave, a senior pastor since 1981, has a Master’s degree in ministry. Dawn, with a Master’s degree in education, is an ICF professional certified life coach. Married since 1975, the Linds have three sons (two married and one in college) and two grandchildren. They reside in beautiful Vermont.
