Leading From Your Strengths
Learn How to Lead From Your Strengths So People
Will Follow!
One of the greatest challenges as a leader is to actually lead in such a way so that followers are following.
Often leaders start out to build a great church, ministry team or non-profit organization and somewhere end up as Lone Rangers. However, when you are clear who you are and where you are going, then you will attract like-minded teammates. Others are naturally drawn to your team when they know the purpose and vision of the team, where they fit and that their efforts will be significant.
As coaches at Focus On Purpose, we create a safe environment in which leaders have freedom to share dreams, expose ideas and talk creatively in confidence. Together, we can develop a strategy for you to become an “attraction magnet” of the right people to your team!
There are many leadership styles. Some leaders are methodical and deliberate. Others are quick, to the point and just want to know the bottom line. Some are managers who lead by delegating to capable people and others would rather get the job done alone.
The part that is crucial is to have a leader who is leading from his/her strengths.
Furthermore, simply having a clear mission statement doesn’t necessarily put you on the road to leading a thriving church or non-profit organization. It’s crucial to understand your leadership style and become a master in relating to those you are leading.
At the end of these coaching sessions, you will identify:
- Core strengths that you bring to the team as the leader
- Specific duties and responsibilities that you prefer
- Predictable points of conflict that may occur in your leadership style
- How others may perceive your actions when you’re under pressure
- Patterns of core and adaptive style within your team members
Ways to create an ideal environment which build on strengths and blend differences within your church or non-profit organization.
