Experiencing two very different business backgrounds has been a unique privilege of mine. My original training and career was in electrical engineering for two corporations. I worked both as a long range planner and a senior product engineer, where I used my design and application skills. Then, I chose a significant career shift. For my second career I have worked as the senior pastor for over 25 years in two churches, where I have developed effective teams and delivered thousands of motivational talks. I co-founded a nondenominational church in the suburbs of Chicago and have a weekly TV ministry. In 1999 I successfully transitioned a New England church ministry to a “purpose driven” style and focus. In 2005, I was featured as a "turn-around" church pastor in Leadership Journal Magazine (Fall 2005).

I have over 25 years of experience in leadership, education, motivational speaking, organizing and life coaching. I obtained education degrees that qualified me throughout the years to teach students from kindergarten through college and have a Master's Degree in teaching (M.A.T.) from the University of Vermont . I have enjoyed my career in the teaching profession; however, my favorite career is life coaching! I love to help people realize how rewarding and fun their life work can be when it's an extension of their life purpose.

Dave & Dawn Lind… are the owners of Focus On Purpose Coaching and have over 25 years of experience in leadership, motivational speaking and coaching. Their clients include nationally known Christian leaders, pastors, pastors’ wives, ministry leaders, leadership couples, entrepreneurs, executives, college students and coaches. Both Dave and Dawn are certified “Leading From Your Strengths” trainers and certified Christian PAIRS educators. They are workshop leaders for AMFM (Association of Marriage and Family Ministries) and oversee the AMFM Couples In Leadership Focus Group. Having been married for over 33 years, Dawn and Dave reside in beautiful New England with their family.
