Over the years, many coaches have contacted Focus On Purpose and expressed interest in learning more about the design of our website. People ask, “Who is your web designer and how much does he charge?” As that question was asked more often, we decided to add Website Design to our list of services for coaches.

So, here’s the scoop….

Our web designer, Jon, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Informational Technology and has works for a prestigious advertising & design firm as a website designer and artist. Our web coach, Dawn, is a certified life coach with over 2,500 hours of coaching experience.If you decide to work with us, Jon and Dawn will work as a Team of Two to help you develop a website that reflects who you are as a coach¬†- a website that is designed to attract your ideal clients.

HOW IT WORKS:
As a potential web client, first you would contact Dawn. She will begin by asking you to fill out a Coaching Web Site Questionnaire to help her understand your goals, background and preferences. She will then contact you to schedule a complementary session by telephone to discuss the details of your web site design project and decide if you want to partner with us to create your site.

If you decide to hire Dawn as your coach for this part of the web design process, it will usually take approximately 4-6 sessions. This estimate is assuming that you are clear on your mission statement and your goals. After you have clarity regarding the brand and content, the process is handed over to Jon for the artistic and technical design work. Dawn basically is your translator, giving Jon the information that she has gathered from you.

Length of time to complete
That’s up to you and also depends on whether or not you have a clear brand or niche. You can generally expect a 2-6 month range from start to finish. The web design process from start to finish is time-consuming but well worth it. And as an added benefit, this process will clarify who you are as a coach and what you are trying to accomplish in your business.
