The morning dawn dramatically symbolizes “breakthrough” in a brand new day. In a similar way, my coaching specialty can be described as “Break-Through” coaching for a brand new life of discovery. I have a gift for inspiring people to break through the barriers that have kept them stuck from discovering and pursuing their life purpose.
Clients say that they are attracted to me as a coach because I have what they want: enthusiasm, confidence, energy, and fun. I am very focused, purpose-driven, and can make things happen. Others sense my ability to put them at ease and make them feel comfortable with me. I am an excellent listener who is also direct and honest. You can expect assessment of your current situation, encouragement to take the next step and accountability to stay focused.
With over 30 years of experience in leadership, education, motivational speaking, organizing and life coaching, I have also obtained education degrees that qualified me throughout the years to teach students from kindergarten through college. My Master’s Degree in teaching (M.A.T.) was earned from the University of Vermont . My career in the teaching profession was enjoyable, however, my favorite career is life coaching! It so exciting to help people realize how rewarding and fun their life work can be when it is an extension of their life purpose.
As a graduate of Coach University, I am fully certified by the following top four coaching institutions that are highly recognized throughout the world:
- ICF-PCC Certified (International Coach Federation - Professional Certified Coach)
- IAC Certified (International Association of Coaches)
- CPCC Certified (Christian Professional Certifed Coach)
- CVCC Certified (Coachville Certified Coach)
I am also a certified teleclass instructor, certified Leading From Your Strengths® trainer and certified PAIRS® Essentials educator.
My husband and I are national speakers and workshop leaders for the Association of Marriage and Family Ministries (AMFM) and oversee the AMFM Couples In Leadership Team. As founders of Healthy Christian Marriages, we coach pastoral couples to lead marriage initiatives and conferences. We are certified Prepare and Enrich educators and are privileged to serve as part of the teaching and leadership staff for The Leadership Center in Wolfeboro, NH.
In 2003, I was selected to be a Dream Giver Coach with The Dream Giver Coach Network and have received coach training from Bruce Wilkinson, author of several best selling books. I have taught seminars and have spent two weeks in South Africa with Bruce on a project in Zulu villages for Never-ending Gardens.
As a Focus On Purpose® Coach, I am able to draw from a unique combination of experiences as a university professor, teacher, speaker, vocal musician, wife (married since 1975) and mother of three grown sons. I am also blessed with two daughters-in-law and two grandchildren.
I have coached many individuals to step out of their comfort zones and as a result, some are now presenting seminars, re-designing their current careers within the corporate world, owning businesses, becoming coaches, ministering to internationals. Others have stepped way out of their comfort zones to go to Africa and meet needs in poverty-stricken areas. So when you’re ready to begin a similar journey, I’m ready to inspire you to Break Through!
